Investigadores del GATV publican un nuevo estudio sobre detección de bots en redes sociales descentralizadas
Researchers from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid’s Grupo de Aplicación de Telecomunicaciones Visuales (GATV), as part of the AI-CODE project, have published a new study presenting an AI-based method for detecting bots in decentralized social networks such as Mastodon. The research addresses the growing challenge of identifying malicious automated accounts in federated online platforms by combining advanced machine learning techniques with behavioural and network analysis, achieving high detection accuracy while supporting the development of trustworthy and resilient digital ecosystems capable of countering disinformation and coordinated manipulation campaigns.
